Industrial machinery gears are widely used in many fields. In industrial robots, gears are used in structures such as actuators, drive systems, control systems and sensing systems. The insertion and addition of gears make the positioning of the manipulator more accurate and flexible. In the medical field, gears have excellent mechanical properties, such as radiation resistance, low particle formation, wear resistance, chemical resistance and toxicity resistance, so they are widely used in three-dimensional imaging systems and dialyzer pumps. In commercial machines, gears need to work at high temperatures and without lubrication, and there are strict requirements for service life and print/copy speed, so PEEK materials have been proven to have excellent performance in applications such as fixing rolls or heating roll gears. In the industrial field, the formulas and methods of geometric calculation, contact strength check calculation and bending strength check calculation are used in transmission design, and parameters such as gear material, heat treatment method, reliability requirements and gear support form are also taken into account.
